This top legal professional will be both an excellent administrator and an effective criminal defense practitioner in the fast-paced, ever changing, and demanding environment of indigent defense. result of the retirement of a long-standing and highly regarded Director, Mr. Yeura Venters. The person chosen to lead the Franklin County Office of the Public Defender will be committed to excellent legal representation for persons unable to afford counsel and have a passion for as well as commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

complex cases;
‹ Possess emotional intelligence skills to mentor and assist less experienced attorneys
in providing excellent client representation; and
‹ Have experience in staff performance management (training, coaching, and contributing
