The person chosen to lead the Franklin County Office of the Public Defender will be committed to excellent legal representation for persons unable to afford counsel and have a passion for as well as commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Have a strong working knowledge and experience in a client-centered, community oriented,

Possess emotional intelligence skills to mentor and assist less experienced attorneys
in providing excellent client representation; and
Have experience in staff performance management (training, coaching, and contributing
feedback related to the overall performance of others).
